The pitcher’s mound has a diameter of 18 feet and is positioned 60 feet 6 inches away from home plate.
The pitcher’s rubber measures 6 inches wide and 24 inches long, extending from the front edge of the mound towards home plate.
Elevation: The mound is raised above the surrounding playing surface. It is typically built with a gradual slope, rising 10 inches from the level of the playing field. The slope begins at a distance of 6 feet from the front edge of the rubber.
