Bases and Base Sets
Bases are an integral part of baseball - it's even in the name! So, it's important to make sure you have top tier bases on your field. With high-quality bases, you won't have to worry about them sliding around, tearing up your field, or causing injuries during games. We know there are many bases to choose from and lots of information out there, so we here at Valley Athletics have put together a list of our top tier bases and base set selections. That way, you'll have all the information in one place in order to choose the perfect bases for your field. Jack Corbett® Hollywood Bases®
Jack Corbett® Hollywood Bases® are the best design on the field – any field. Including the pros, who use them on their fields. With a tapered lip that virtually eliminates edge turn up, you’ll be sure to have bases that are both functional and look nice all season long – if not longer! They feature high-quality 1200 pound tensile strength rubber to prevent most cuts and tears, not to mention a natural rubber cover and steel stanchion that can withstand heavy use. Soft Touch® Double 1st Base Stake Down or Stanchion Tee
You can’t go wrong with Soft Touch® Double 1st Base Stake Down or Stanchion Tee Bases’ high-performance, durability, and stylish design. Their bases are made with cut-resistant polyurethane materials and are designed to flex and absorb energy, so that your bases stay fresh and functional all season long – if not longer! They feature a white side for the fielder with two anchoring options: original tee with stakes or convertible tee with stanchion, and an orange side for the runner with a spike underneath to stabilize it. The base set includes 1 double first base and 2 single bases. Available as 15″ bases.

Soft Touch® T-Series for Turf
For those who want aren’t quite at the professional level, but still want high-quality performing bases that won’t break the budget, we introduce you to the Soft Touch® T-Series for Turf bases. Finally, there are bases specifically for artificial turf! These bases don’t require a mounting system, so that they’re easy to install and remove. The way they stay put are molded fingers on the underside of each base that firmly holds the bases in place. They’re easy to install for in-ground year round use, or quick to setup for game time for fields that share a field. Designed for use on synthetic turf fields with a minimum turf depth of 1″, these bases are sure to stay put.
