Soft Touch® T-Series for Turf
For those who want aren’t quite at the professional level, but still want high-quality performing bases that won’t break the budget, we introduce you to the Soft Touch® T-Series for Turf bases. Finally, there are bases specifically for artificial turf! These bases don’t require a mounting system, so that they’re easy to install and remove. The way they stay put are molded fingers on the underside of each base that firmly holds the bases in place. They’re easy to install for in-ground year round use, or quick to setup for game time for fields that share a field. Designed for use on synthetic turf fields with a minimum turf depth of 1″, these bases are sure to stay put. This technology is available in a set of 3 15″ bases, an individual 15″ orange base, a home plate, or a pitching rubber.
Soft Touch® Release Base with Ground Mount System
The Soft Touch® Release Base with Ground Mount System is designed to be the ultimate choice in safety in the base industry. These release bases are constructed with the exclusive “progressive release” design, providing the latest safety technology. In the case of uncontrolled slides, the “progressive release” action allows the base to flex until enough force is applied to “pop” the base free from the mount, unlike any standard base. Proven over 15 years of play, “progressive release” bases out-perform standard bases. The flexible plastic design also provides the ultimate in safety standards. Not only are these bases the safest in the game, but they’re incredibly durable. They’re molded from durable cut-resistant polyurethane, so that they’ll last all season long – if not longer, no matter how hard your players play. Cleaning them is just as easy as these bases are safe. Their wide openings make cleaning out dirt a snap. The patented 7” box mounting system remains in-ground for a full season of play, so that your bases stay in place and steady all season long. Already have a mounting system in place? Or, do you not have any mounting system? Either way you’re covered with these release bases that are designed to flex and absorb energy as players into the base. The stake down or stanchion tee options of the Soft Touch® Release Bases make these bases the only completely portable progressive release bases in the industry. The original model with stakes does not require permanent ground anchors, and it secures to the diamond with three 12″ spikes. They’re perfect for quick game-time installation or removal and ideal for practice or games in a grassy area. The convertible system with stanchion tee lets you easily replace your standard bases with progressive release bases without replacing your existing anchors. Both models feature a “Progressive release” that allows base to flex until it safely pops free from its mount, making it also one of the safest bases in the industry.
