Its massive extension arm features an upper and lower boom support, and its distance from base to backboard is 96″, meeting all NCAA and National High School Federation requirements. The Hurricane series portable hoop comes equipped with a top of the line, unbreakable 42″ x 72″ competition tempered glass backboard, a Full-Tilt 180 degree breakaway hoop, and TuffGuard bolt-on backboard padding, which are the same components used in high schools and colleges throughout the country. With its height adjustable, “spring-aided” design, this portable basketball hoop’s rim height adjustments can be made easily from 10 feet down to 6 feet. To adjust the height, simply pull the pin located on the adjustment rod, raise or lower the hoop as needed, and replace the pin. It’s so simple that one person can easily roll the hoop into place and set it up quickly and easily. Heavy foam padding covers the front, sides, and back of the Hurricane series portable hoop’s base to protect players, and is available in an array of colors (please specify color when requesting a quote).
